Featured Instructor - Lou Bido

Lou Bido joined the Hardball NY instructional staff in 2008 after a four-year career at NCAA Division II program Mercy College.  With the Mavericks, Bido played both in the outfield and as a catcher.  He played his scholastic ball at nearby St. Raymond’s as a catcher and third baseman.

Bido coached Hardball’s 15U team in its inaugural season of 2010. He was up to the task, leading his squad to a playoff berth.

“Lou is a committed, diversified instructor that has developed into an excellent coach,” said Hardball NY co-founder Bill Sullivan.

Bido is a 2009 graduate of Mercy College, earning his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in history.
