Where the Student-Athlete Trains
The Original Hardball Training Center opened in Miami, Florida in 1993 with the goal of preparing its players both physically and mentally to help develop the winning attitude and skills necessary for success. In the winter of 2008, Hardball (New York) was established in Elmsford, New York, grounded in the same philosophies to become "Where the Student-Athlete Trains".
The Hardball Training Center includes 16,000 square feet of climate-controlled indoor space. It is equipped with batting cages, pitching tunnels, an academic center, a pro shop, and utility space for use by a variety of sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. Through a relationship with Velocity Sports Performance, the Hardball Training Center offers a complete year-round "Total Conditioning" program.
Our indoor, climate-controlled batting cages are equipped with state-of-the-art pitching machines delivering 50 mph to 85 mph pitches to accommodate all levels of instruction or practice. They are available for individuals, teams or groups and can be reserved in advance. Private instruction for the development of proper pitching, hitting, and defensive mechanics, along with drills and strategy is available with our staff of top instructors as part of our comprehensive program.
Hardball camps and clinics are offered throughout the year, including summer camps and holiday breaks. Baseball, softball, and soccer players are coached by professional instructors, each of whom has achieved collegiate and/or professional level success. With plenty of fun and hard work, groups will focus on developing proper pitching, catching, hitting, and fielding mechanics. We strive to improve each player's game, sportsmanship and leadership skills.
