Instruction & Philosophy
Hardball NY Camps cover all phases of baseball and softball with the focus on developing proper pitching, catching, hitting, and fielding mechanics. We strive to improve each player's game, sportsmanship and leadership skills.
Camp Director Bill Sullivan and his staff of talented college and high school coaches will provide your team or individual child with the skills and winning attitude necessary for success.
Camp Director - Bill Sullivan
Hardball NY co-founder Bill Sullivan has been the Head Baseball Coach at NCAA Division II Mercy College for the past 14 years. During his tenure he has coached several All-Conference honorees, including current Japan League and former Major Leage pitcher Brian Sweeney.
Sullivan's baseball background reaches beyond the collegiate level as he has also directed and instructed at numerous youth camps and clinics, including Triple Play Baseball Academy, Cooperstown Diamond National Youth Baseball Academy, University of Miami, Barry University, and Mercy College. During his career he has instructed hundreds of aspiring young athletes, with many alumni going on to collegiate careers.
Sullivan also carries a strong educational background, serving as a teacher for a combined 12 years at Preston High School and Clarkstown North High School. Prior to that he played for three years at Division I La Salle University where he pitched and played the infield.The Hardball NY Training Center is conveniently located in the heart of Southern Westchester County with access from I-287 and the Saw Mill Parkway. Our 16,000 square foot climate controlled indoor facility is designed to meet the needs of today's student-athletes of all ages and skill levels,
Our Facility
The Hardball NY Training Center is equipped with batting cages, pitching tunnels, an academic center, pro shop, and utility space for use by a variety of sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, and field hockey. And, through a partnership with Velocity Sports Performance, Hardball NY offers student-athletes a "Total Conditioning" program.
Our batting cages are equipped with state-of-the-art pitching machines delivering 50 mph to 85 mph pitches to accommodate all levels of instruction or practice.
